HOA Board Meeting 2022-11-14
Called to order at 06:30pm
Alycia, Andrew, Robyn & Tim present.
No community members joined for special interest in joining the board or new items to bring to the Board’s attention.
- Topics:
- Light pole replacements?
- May need to notify RA that emergency replacement of single light pole that may fail soon. And then file DRB application for official approval of rest of poles.
- Replacing the 30 light poles can easily and quickly be prohibitively expensive to do all at once.
- Will contact covenant advisor for suggestions regarding the vendor supplied DRB approved light fixtures. Confirm they are DRB approved and if they have recommendations.
- What to do if no one joins as a 5th board member?
- Legal council says 4 is sufficient as long as at least 3 officers are present to make decisions. And continue to solicit for a new officer.
- May not be able to address ‘nice to haves’ for the cluster, such as the Little Free Library and EV charging rules.
- RA Response regarding other vehicle parking questions
- RA pushes down responsibility of allowing/disallowing other vehicles to the Cluster HOA.
- PODs – POD presently in cluster has been in place for many weeks or a few months. Popular opinion is that it is past the usable timeframe and should be removed.
- Working on improving bylaws to specify storage containers (ie: PODs) and RV style vehicles.
- Acceleration of Dues or sent to collections?
- Deceleration can be requested and the Board can approve to remove the acceleration till the next April.
- After 60 days of being delinquent of HOA Dues, the homeowner will be notified. Another 60 days the amount due will be sent to collections, to include acceleration.
- In Spring, will call companies to get quotes for repainting parking lines and such, following snow.
- Friday S’mores
- Will be located at the visitor parking spaces in K, near 1571.
- Facebook event will be created
- S’mores material will be provided
- Next HOA Board meeting will be December 19th
