Parking – Birchfield Woods Cluster Association

Our Cluster is one of the few in Reston with assigned parking. While there are many benefits, there are also some drawbacks; most notably, a lack of visitor parking, and some spaces may not be directly in front of your home. Please respect your neighbors and their rights by abiding by the Rules and Regulations at all times.

If you have received a warning from the BWCA Board regarding a parking violation in the past, you will not receive a second warning; rather, your car will be towed by Henry’s Wrecker Service.

There are ONLY 13 Visitor Spaces throughout the community, each marked with the letter “V”. (College students and grown children staying with family for extended lengths of time are NOT considered visitors, they are residents. Please park accordingly.) Please respect your neighbors and their rights by abiding by
the Rules and Regulations at all times. We have the added benefit of using the circle at the entrance to the Cluster for Fairfax County owned street parking, as long as vehicles can still enter/exit.

Each property has TWO ASSIGNED parking spaces. Please be aware that residents do not have property rights to these parking spaces. The parking spaces are property of the Birchfield Woods Cluster, not the homeowner they are assigned to. The Board may revoke your exclusive use for violations of the parking rules.

An example of violation would be using your assigned spaces for cars which do not move, causing you to use Visitor spaces for your cars which do move.
