HOA Board Meeting 2026-05-20

Meeting called to order at 7:00PM

In attendance: Bill, Bruce, Liz, Mike, Mary, Dan, Heather

General introductions were made and board member responsibilities and voting procedures were discussed. 

Board officer positions were voted on:

  • President – Bill
  • Vice President – Bruce
  • Secretary – Liz
  • Treasurer – Mike
  • Member at Large – Mary

The board reviewed the HOA website and discussed updates needed to reflect the new board members. Key resident resources available on the website were reviewed, including governing documents, assessment information, and reserve study materials.

The board discussed communication processes and ways to improve communication with residents. Discussion included establishing systems for tracking board communications and records.

The 2025 Reserve Study was reviewed, including findings and recommendations. The board noted that the next reserve study is anticipated in 2030.

The board reviewed the HOA budget and financial planning for the upcoming fiscal years.

The board discussed delinquent HOA dues accounts and ongoing coordination with management and legal counsel regarding collection procedures.

Action Items:

  • Mary to coordinate shared drive access for board members.
  • Liz to explore systems for tracking board communications and get access to BWCA’s Facebook.

Next meeting scheduled for Wednesday, June 17th.
