- The playground repairs has been approved and the creation of replacement parts have begun, which can take a couple of months to fabricate. Kids Stuff playgrounds has been given the ‘go-ahead’ to create the pieces. A contractor to perform the removal (of damaged parts) and installation (of new parts) has been identified and agreed to perform the work.
- Andrew will inquire with the a couple of companies about regular inspections of playground equipment.
- Heather has followed up with landscaping POC about what we can do about the issues of erosion at various locations in the Cluster. Only recommendations was installing stairs or native plants (which could include a grant to assist with cost). Sidewalk flooding location (near 1520) is due to the sidewalk being lower than the roots therefor the water has nowhere to go. Recommendation was to create pathways for water to run into the grass. Heather will take pictures of troublesome spots where fir trees may be not allowing grass to grow to help stem erosion.
- Several homeowners (9) have caught up on Cluster assessments that were a bit behind. 9 remain, but overall the number of overdue assessments has been halved.
