1. slide update
*working on getting quote. asked today for work history and maintenance records.
*need to find company to perform inspection and maintenance of playground
*may need to replace the flat slide, due to wear and a crack that has begun (appears to be from normal usage, but needs to be addressed and is included in quote)
*quote should arrive by mid-august. may need some sort of “credit account” with mgmt company, but has been set up and should be good to proceed with quote
2. tree maintenance/inspection
*a RA maintained tree branch fell on a cluster member’s back deck.
*what kind of inspections can be done to address anything that needs attention (by BWCA or by RA)
*Andrew will ask RA Covenants Advisor when was the last time the RA trees were inspected. This fall was just a branch, but what if it were the tree.
*Dan will contact Sav-a-Tree to inquire for a quote for tree inspection for BWCA only trees.
*Andrew will confirm if the trees/land next to entry circle is BWCA property or not
3. erosion control
*no response from fairfax county on the erosion program.
*have another contact to try, but will try proper route too
4. dues payment status
*Received update from mgmt company. late assessments: 2 are over $1000 and have been sent to lawyers, 1 is now due to be turned over to lawyers
